No pressure on update rate or content, but this montage, with no text over the fun stuff, is peak. Love it. Though I suppose 2 panels with cohesive dialog, exposition, and story beats, can be just as much work.
Thank you! I really like the montage pages. They are fun for me but they do take a good bit if time. Constantly changing outfits and hairstyles and scenes takes more time than just changing poses and adding dialog.
Compared to around 2010/2011, computer modeled webcomics have come a long way, in the right hands. I’d say, probably close to a 1/4th of all the Ongoing comics I follow.
The Aray/Maeye spoon snuggles sandwich was just so adorable. That’s pure awwwww material. Aray snuggles are wonderful snuggles ^_^

Ref: panel #4, range time is rarely wasted but using your combat load for practice might leave you short later on…of course, knowing Maeye, she packed every cartridge that would fit into the truck, or on it, there’s no such thing as bringing too much ammo…unless you have to carry it for ten miles 😉
Totally agree. It probably started out as Maeye practicing – she is still new to modern firearms. But then, how are you expected to stand by and watch when someone is having fun at the range. 😀
Do they have enough cans of gas to get them through 3 days of hard driving, or are they hoping to refill along the way?
That is an excellent question. We will have to assume that Aray knows of a few places to fuel up on the way. They have one can of gas, but 5 gallons will get you about 60 miles in that old truck. 🙂
Heya, friends. We have suffered a fairly devastating system failure. My main data drive died. I have tried several things to fix it, but nothing has worked so far. And, icing on the cake, my backup drive is also down. I am now researching professional data recovery services to see if I can get everything back. Needless to say, this will be a major setback if I cannot get it recovered. I’ll keep you all up to date.

So here’s the latest. The good news is the data recovery company says they think they can get all the data back. The process was surprisingly expensive, but luckily I have been stockpiling my Patreon donations from all you lovely people, so it will only cost me a couple hundred out of pocket.
The bad news it the process can take up to 6 weeks. So, Arayanna and Maeye are going to be on a bit of a hiatus. In the meantime, I am going to come up with a couple of new characters and just throw out some fun stuff – not a whole comic – just something to keep us entertained while we wait for the PC gods to return Prentil to us. 😀

I would rather say that Arayanna & Maeye are having a vacation instead of hiatus. Sure we aren’t able to see what they’ll do but they deserve privacy after all this time. Don’t you think ? 🙂
