Bk1: Ch7: Pg7
Arayanna: What? Dalleon's shield?
2a.
Arayanna: Ok. What the fuck...
2b.
Arayanna: ...was that?
3a.
Sha'ag: Hey you. It has been a while since you have called me.
Maeye: Yes. I hope that is alright. I have been trying to give you some space. I seem to have a knack for interrupting you at inopportune times.
3b.
Sha'ag: It is alright. I do like to complain about it, but the truth is, I am always happy to see you.
4a.
Maeye: I'm happy to see you too.
Sha'ag: I see things have not changed much for you.
Maeye: How do you mean?
4b.
Sha'ag: You're still finding new and interesting monsters that are all seem intent on eating you.
Maeye: Ha. Yea...Pretty much.
5a.
Maeye: So how about you. How are things?
Sha'ag: My new life is wonderful. I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me.
Sha'ag: The world that Dalleon took me to is so full of kind people and beautiful lands to explore.
5b.
Maeye: You have been exploring?
Sha'ag: Oh yes, I have just had the most amazing adventure. Would you care to hear about it?
Maeye: Yes, please. You know I love a good story.
6a.
Sh'ag [off]: It all started when I found a book about the ancient gods of Norriell, the world where I now live.
The book explained that the ancient gods once roamed the world of Norriell, and the people payed them homage an tribute to win their favor.
No one truly knows why, but over time, one by one, the gods moved on to a new realm where they could only interact with their people through dreams and prayers.
But legend holds that they left their physical bodies behind, and if you could just find them, you could wake them with the appropriate tribute.
The last of the gods to leave Norriell were Ero and Aria, the od and goddess of love, passion and lust.
I became entranced with their story, obsessed maybe, and I dedicated all of my time to finding out everything I could about lost god and goddess of love.
7a.
Sha'ag [off]: Until finally one day, I found an ancient map with claimed to lead to the last resting place of the Ero and Aia.
So I went in search of them.
8a.
Arayanna: Are you going to explain to me why you just almost let me die...
8b.
Arayanna: or are we going to finish this...right here and now?
Kraghen: Yes...
Kraghen: ..I will explain.
Krag is in some deep trouble now. Love Arayβs angry look, nicely done.
Thank you, and yes, he is in serious trouble. π
Tease! Your horny little scamp is about to find 2 sex gods & you cut away.
Oh & Arayanna carve him up slow.
LOL!
Sha’ag is in for quite an adventure if she can find those Gods.
Iβm surprised that Krag, without thinking twice, wants to explain it to Arayanna. Maybe because he fears her for not being dead and standing right behind him. Or guilty feelings. Who knows…
It may have something to do with why he wants to breed with Maeye, and feels he needs Aray dead
Who doesn’t want to breed with Maeye? π
wait wait wait…
Is D acting solely on its own?… i doubt that… rather Krag is one cunning bastard…
or… i hope he is… π
π
Krag is struggling a bit with what most would consider normal human interaction. π
Krag really needs Maeye for something that will require extremely powerful magic. Maybe something like bringing his sister back as a summon?
He thinks that Maeye will only help him if they are a couple. So, first, he tried to seduce her away from Aray, but when that didn’t work, he convinced himself that Aray needed to be gotten out of the way. He was going to let her fall, but at the last second, he realized he couldn’t do it, even if it meant failing at whatever his goal was.
At least, that’s my guess.
Maybe Krag isn’t the one behind all the supernatural events. Maybe he works for the person who is? If so, I think he just decided to quit.
Stay on your guard Aray!
If he tried to ‘help’ you die once, he may try a more direct attempt next time!!
“Tried to help you die” … LOL! Love it!
Heh, thought that that had been Indiana Aray, not Lara Sha’ag (they are both pale, and both have, or had, long black hair)
Yea – I was a little worried about that. They are both very similar in appearance from a distance. It is definitely Laura Sha’ag, though.
Or, “Dora, Dora, Dora, the Sexplorer!”
Uh… Nope. It might describe Sha’ag perfectly, but it’s sounds way too skeezy.
xp
same here… π
Just have to say that I absolutely love Sha’s reading attire!
Thank you. I do as well. Same outfit Aray wore for the 2016 Christmas render, just with different textures applied. One of my favorites.
I think Krags explanation may just save his life. But if he believes that there is any way at all she’ll let him even try to have a child with Maeve he never knew her-and one of them will die. I suspect Krag’s nature and origins mean he needs a very powerful magic user to succeed, but to choose Maeve? To betray and try to kill Aray to get her? He’s suicidal or somewhere well past desperate. Even if Aray had been killed he’s incapable of forcing Maeve to do anything-just look at what she’s become since the story started. He might as well try and manipulate reality and time. She’d kill him, or worse. Also, love the “Indiana” Shay. Lovely to see she’s found such a good place to live, I just wonder if she actually found a Divine being or two while exploring… Keep up the good work, lets see what happens next.
Very much agree. Even if Krag manages to survive this, he’s broken trust with Aray, which means he’s got a snowballs chance in hell of getting close to Maeye now. Glad you are enjoying the Sha’ag story. I wanted something a little bit light hearted to contrast all this serious drama with Krag and Aray.
And, not to forget, Maeye doesn’t trust him either, she knows he’s up to something
Speaking of the Shaggy one: she may or may not have a bit of a cameo over in the “Merceneiress” webic (at least two others recognized her, so it’s not just me, although, she did have really dark-red hair as opposed to her usual black…)
