Arayanna: Did the Minox do this?
Maeye: Minox?
Arayanna Um, the giant bull-man monsters.
Maeye: Oh, yes, one of them hit me. What are they anyway?
Arayanna: They are not from this world. Some would call them demons.
Maeye: You mean they are summoned?
Arayanna: Yes, exactly. Summoned from another place or time.

Maeye: Yes. there are still some, but not many. Using magic of any kind is punishable by death, so they mostly stay hidden.
Arayanna: Well, apparently this summoner is no longer afraid.
