The text from Arayanna in the fifth frame is a little bit too far to the left.
That kind of shit truly perplexes me. Did I sneeze before I published the page and it pushed the text over? No idea…
I think it looks much better crossing over the border between panels than covering her face and to be honest, I hadn’t noticed it until it was mentioned.
Sometimes panel borders are more guidlines than rules 😉
The text right before that, it is not centered in its’ bubble. But I actually didn’t notice at first either, even after I saw the comment and looked.
Anyhow, I wonder what the artifact will do to Maeye, Arayanna and Seydah. I hope they won’t get hurt.

If it acts the same way as the other half they found in the mountains then it will not effect Maeye, but everyone else is in for a ride. And The Merchant told them not to touch it with their bare hands, so hopefully they all remember that bit of advice. 😀

Is that Maeye in the painting on panel 14? Maeye you saucy minx. Also how does Ziri not recognize Maye? She has said she had been there before, more than once.
I don’t think the girl in the painting is Maeye ’cause she doesn’t have her tattoo on her left side.

The girl in the painting is not Maeye, but they do look alot alike. Her name is Hannah. She will have another cameo on the next page.
Maeye has been to Pleasure Towers before, but not necessarily this one. There are several throughout the city.
I think it’s just the different hair, but Maeye’s face seems longer and thinner than before.
It must be the hair. I have not changed her model in a while.
The facial expressions in panel seven are great!
