Arayanna: I am not quite certain what happened to me... I cannot remember. But there are a few things I do know.
Arayanna: First, and most importantly, Kiergeile, Briegeile's sister, is missing. I would not have given her up without a fight, so I believe I must have been tricked or surprised.
Arayanna: Second, judging by the condition of my clothes it would seem that I have been sleeping here for a very long time.
Maeye: But how long?

Arayanna: I am not sure. What year is it?
Maeye: Um... today is the 47th day of autumn in the year 929.
Arayanna: Oh my. That is a long time.
Arayanna: In that case, I think my suspicions might be correct. Only a very powerful sorcerer could pull off an enchantment that would put me to sleep for that long.
Arayanna: And Rosata Shen'ven, my traveling companion, was one of the most powerful sorceresses I had ever met.
Maeye: But there haven't been any sorcerers or sorceresses in the whole of Prentil for like a hundred years.

Maeye: So wait a second...
Maeye: Are you telling me that you have been asleep down here in this cave for a hundred years?
Arayanna: Yes... It would appear so...

Maeye: Well, my mysterious, ancient, pointy-eared friend, why don't you try these on and we will see about getting the hell out of here.
