I know, I know; it’s a plot device called dramatic tension. You can probably string it out for another 3 or 4 full chapters before the readers revolt and demand a resolution. But still …
About Aray being with a woman: I was thinking the same thing. You probably want to check the comments on the previous page, because Feori explained that she didn’t mean what you and I thought she meant.
Remember a few pages back where Kraghen was peeping in on the ladies having fun, from outside, all creepy-like? Well… Three of those ladies had a very fun, very naked time last night… Did Kraghen get an eyeful?
Well, Bekha will have fond memories of that night, and very nice of the girls to cover her after leaving (but, did they leave without saying ‘goodbye’? o_O )
The more I look at this chapter the more it reads like a Star Trek episode. Show up, solve the mystery, sleep with all the women, topple the government, then roll out leaving satisfied women and social chaos in your wake.
Why does everybody hate on Voyager so much? 🙁 I thought it was a great series. And DS9 was supposedly the most popular Trek series. That had a sort of Babylon 5 thing going, being on a station with lots of visitors.
For some reason, I never could get into Enterprise. I never did care much for time travel. But, mostly, things like reboots and recons annoy me.
TOS and TAS I liked, and TOS will always hold a special place in my heart for being my first Trek.
TNG I liked best if you count DS9 as single thing.
Peacetime DS9 I liked best if it can be counted separately.
Wartime DS9 I actually stopped watching after a while…
VOY I liked about as well as TOS and TAS. Better before the dumbing down, worse after.
The only thing I liked about ENT is it got people to stop calling VOY the worst Trek series.
I’m looking forward to the 2017 series. (People from the future: All we’ve seen as I write this is the 50-second logo/teaser thing, and some behind-the-scenes tidbits. Some good, some bad, none informative.)
I’ve recently rematches some Enterprise episodes and did not like them as much the second time around, but I still think Scott Bakula was a great captain. I loved TNG when it first started, but man that stuff stinks if you watch it now. Just didn’t hold up over time. TOS forever. <3
Wait, did Aray’s and Maeye’s horse swap positions? o_O
In eleven twelve and thirteen, the dark horse is on our left and Aray is adjusting the straps on the pale horse on our right, but panel fourteen has Maeye on the pale one which is now on our left and Aray is about to mount the dark one that has moved to the right O_o
The blushing on Aray’s face as Maeye kisses her head is so endearing. For someone of her age and experience to be blushing like that it shows just how Maeye has gotten to her heart. <3
I am still here! Was looking at the page again this morning. What is Maeye doing in panel 9 that has Aray taking pause in panel 8? Also, that look on Bekha’s face is priceless. That girl looks like she is going to blissfully sleep for days. 😀 She is lucky indeed.
So those two panels are supposed to be the ladies sharing a look in response to Krag’s question about joining them. Aray is giving Maeye a “could be fun” kind of look and Maeye is responding with a shrug (and flinging scrambled eggs everywhere in the process).
Ah gotcha! It was the scrambled egg flinging that threw me off. She was so expertly flinging, I thought she might be performing some type of magic. Thank you for the clarification. No more early morning commenting for me. 🙂
I just started reading today and i can’t get over how good this story is. i like reading web comics and i gotta say this is in my top five of all of them. I can’t wait till my computer is up and running so i can play the new game too.

You need to be more specific: This reads like a Star Trek TOS episode, with Kirk leaving a satisfied woman and social turmoil.
