Love Maeye’ s playfulness and Aray’ s facial expressions. Watching you build these pages is fun and amazing. I hope everyone knows how much time, effort, and artistic ability you poor into your work to bring these stories to life. I couldn’t be more proud of you my husband!
It’s hard for me to tell on this page, but…
Does Fiet have a weapon of some kind? Because, if she does not, she’d be a liability (a target to protect) in this fight, instead of an advantage. Or does she have a bit of combat magic?
Aray may have a sadder story than we know.
Beautiful page as always.
Well, I’m definitely biased, but if I read her expression right… They can always adopt.
(Although they are in a magic metaverse. I wouldn’t put it past Fiet or Endora to have a solution…)
Well read. 🙂
She definitely does have a sad story, but that is not why she is concerned at the moment.

Okay that does not look good, specially since the bad guy is carrying a scythe blade.
Yea – that’s gonna be a good fight. 😀
The scythe blade is minor; the fact that it looks like bipedal crocodile is a bit more disconcerting.
I believe that’s a sickle, ancestor to the scythe. (And associated with the druids, although this guy isn’t exactly dressed like a filí 😉 )
Quite possibly, it’s a khopesh, being wielded by a Sleestak
I LOVE SLEESTAKS!!!
Couple months back bought the complete original series on DVD, not going near that crapfest ‘remake’ movie!
😀 Not this particular guy, anyway.
A ten foot tall one at that!
So, they found the kids’ dad? 🙁
Yea – I think that could have been a bit clearer. They are helping the kids pay their respects to their dad in panel 6.
Not sure how you could have made it clearer

She’s magical, while that form appears to be human, she most certainly is not
She does not have a weapon, and she is not a combat mage, but she does have some useful skills (as we will see very soon).
Is it just me or did anyone else notice that Fiet does not seem as fierce and confident as usual?
We haven’t really seen that much of Fiet, and it may have something to do with the form she is in
She does seem to be a little nervous. Maybe it’s just being around Krag…
“A somewhat unusual basement…”
Does Krag have an advanced degree in Understatement???
LOL! I thought it would give the scene a dramatic effect. 🙂
