Almost reminds me of the classic “Brownie to the Face!” from an EQ1 webcomic from years ago (unfortunately for said Brownie, he was a he, and she bit down, hard :D)
Debated for a long time as to what Syril’s reaction would be, and finally decided he might be prejudice against magic, but that doesn’t mean he’s a complete fool. Now the question becomes…will he survive the fight?
I don’t think we have to worry about whether Syril will survive the fight — unlike anyone else on our side, he has armor and he knows how to use it. (At least, I presume it takes a lot of training to become a knight in this world, yes?) At worst, he might fall prey to overconfidence — the knight in full plate mail was more or less the medieval equivalent of a main battle tank. But I can’t see anybody getting too overconfident with that many lizardfolk coming at them, especially if his training was any good.
This comic must have had an influence on me – I had a dream this morning where two people, looking suspiciously like your leads, were important. However, my dream was set in a high tech universe.
I love this page. The art is stunning! This should be an incredible fight.
Thank you, love!! <3
Fairy pussy in the face would stop me.
At this rate Maeye won’t have any Mana left.

Oh wow! Yea…that’s not cool. lol!
It would stop me, too. And I would probably be a while before I joined the chase. 🙂
I’m glad to see that Syril has his priorities in order. This fight is epic!
He may be righteous pain in the funny-bone, but he’s not stupid: he knows when he sees a real threat, and he’s still a Knight of Good
Yup!

My question is:
What will he do after the fight?
If he doesn’t survive at least this fight, he won’t be able to learn that Aray and Maeye are not a threat nor be able to tell his Order

Yea – I think the biggest problem they might have is being overrun by sheer numbers. More to come this weekend!
And thank you!

If all goes well with our storyline, we may get to see our heroines in a high tech universe some day.
Good idea! I think that is a must.
Agreed! 😀
