Nihklas: Killian is settled and Sansraen said she was going to take a bath and would join a bit later.
Nihklas: Where's Kraghen?
1b.
Zenlan: He said he wanted to clear his head so I set him to chopping wood.
Nihklas: Sounds like a good idea.
Zenlan: Aye. He seems fairly shook up by this...
Zenlan: ...beast of yours.

2a.
Zenlan: Ale?
Nihklas: Aye. Thank you.
2b.
Nihklas: Yes. Shook up is right.
Nihklas: It's an incredible story.
Nihklas: But you seem to be taking it all in stride. Why is that, Zen?
Zenlan: Well, that's a good tale, it is...

3a.
Zenlan: My Pappy built this inn years a'fore, and my Gram used to entertain the travelers and guests with songs and tales. Ah she could spin a yarn, my Gram. And folks would come from far and wide just to drink my Pappy's ale and hear my Gram's tales.
3b.
Zenlan: Me'self, I always liked the scary tales, myself. Ghosts and monsters and the like. Well, at least while she was tellin them. After, I'd lie awake in bed, scared half to death, until I heard Pappy snoring and then I could sneak into their room and sleep with the dogs at the foot of the bed.

4a.
Zenlan: One of them scary tales I loved was one Gram used to tell about creatures called the Wehrs. People they were, regular people like you and me. That was until ole' Epsca would call to them and they would turn into great beasts - wolves or bears or shaleclaws - that part would change from time to time. But always, the beasts would roam the forests and the hills and feast on the unwary and the unlucky.
4b.
Zenlan: And if you were skilled enough to kill one of these beasts, then they would turn back into a man before your very eyes.
4c. Close on Nihk into his cup.
Nihklas: Wehrs...

5a.
Arayanna: That was incredible.
Maeye: So you liked it?
Arayanna: By the Maker yes, but I don't think I can take that intensity every time. My head might explode.
5b.
Arayanna: Where did you come up with that idea?
Maeye: Uh...Fiet and Sha'ag kind of suggested it.
Arayanna: I should have known. Those two are going to be a handful.

6a.
Maeye: Oh hey! Didn't you want to show me something?
Arayanna: Oh right! I completely forgot!
6b.
Arayanna: Let's get some breakfast and I'll show you.

7a.
Arayanna: You remember the world I told you of that I visited before here, the world called Earth?
Maeye: Yes, of course.
Arayanna: They have a winter celebration very similar to your New Year that they call Christmas.
7b.
Arayanna: One of my favorite traditions from this holiday is called a Christmas Tree. They would find a fresh pine tree, cut it down, set it in their home and then decorate it.
Maeye: What?
Arayanna: I know it sounds crazy, but they are so beautiful. I thought you might like it.
Maeye: Well I don't want to kill a tree for no reason.

8a.
Arayanna: Could we bring it in alive? Keep it in soil in a large bucket?
Maeye: Then it would be like bringing the spirit of Roggo into our home to protect us through the winter.
Arayanna: And in the spring we can replant the tree in our yard as a symbol of rebirth and the start of another year together.
8b.
Maeye: I love it.
Maeye: And I love you.
