And they just leave the tree up for New Years’ Day
It’s Halloween in our time, winter solstice in their time, so I am trying a bit of a holiday crossover. 🙂

It is a silver filigree that is part of the outfit.

I am amazed that is the only typo. I was so freakin tired when I finished this page I didn’t even read over the text before I posted it.
Well, if it’s getting cold that quick I guess at least it’s turning into “Obvious-Nipples-Season” ;)!
I’m guessing that, because they put up a “New Year Tree” and a new (for this dimension) holiday was born, a certain “spirit” of the holiday decided to pay them a visit. They have the tree, after all. Was that basically an open invitation?
Yeah, was just wondering: did Aray pick that tree by random? or was she subtly influenced in picking that particular tree?

I never even thought of the selection process…I mean…yea….yea…I thought of that all along. It’s always been part of my story. yea….

If the tree is supposed to be alive in a few days, that pot is really a complete barrel (higher than it is wide) and placed in a convenient circular hole in the floor that hides most of the height. Besides a barrel like container would have a bottom of significant thickness, so considering the height above the floor and that the earth is not coming up to the trim, there would approximately 3 Inch/8cm earth at best…
A tree has approximately the same shape above and below ground.

I know the ball of the tree is smaller than might be normal, but I’ve had plenty a live tree in my home that we’ve replanted after Christmas, and the ball was not much bigger than what I have here. Maybe different kinds of trees have different root structure sizes and such…
