Okay, one question: a piece of a summoned creature or spirit is trapped in an artefact, and that allows the summoner to contact the other world and summon the creature or spirit, but how did that piece get into the artefact in the first place? o_O
That is one of the great mysteries of this series. Once the girls figure that out they will unlock the universe…and then some. 🙂

New reader, just caught up and added this webcomic to my list 🙂 However…
I followed an ad here, and this was the latest page. The ad probably should link to bk1-ch3-pg2 or something, instead of the latest page.
Normally the start of the latest arc is the best place to link an ad to, but in this case chapter 4 opens with some slow pages that build on the past. Imagine reading these without knowing how Mae and Aray look up close, or even how they act really. And look at their text colors vs their actual colors — each speaks in roughly the color of the other’s skin.
Normally with a new webcomic, I read the latest few pages in order to get a feel for where the comic is now, and if I like that, I dive the archives from the beginning. I almost missed out on this one because I had no “hooks” to hang this information on.
(Nice ad, BTW; good to know right off that it’s a sword & sorcery webcomic with a lesbian romance 🙂 So many webcomic and web game ads are just like “Pretty girl in a completely different art style from the product!”, and I don’t even know whether it’s a comic or game or whatnot >_<)

Most webics have the latest page as the ‘front’ page, it’s just the way they are done
Personally when finding a new webic, will go straight to the first page and read from there, even thought the ‘landing page’ is the latest page
Er, yeah, latest on the front page is a good thing — but the ad should probably go somewhere other than the front page, at least for the time being.
I guess I do the “check latest” thing because I like CerebusSyndrome 🙂 Prentil started off with a bang, but Goats and EGS(for example) have beginnings that’re thin and frankly bad… and both developed into much more over the years. It also lets me know the current update rate.
The ads usually take you to the main page for the webic, and in Prentil’s case, it’s the latest page
What other web comics are on your list?
Uh… well, I trimmed it down to 64 not too long ago(my custom launcher prefers multiples of 8), and it’s gotten kinda overgrown since O:J Highlights include Freefall, Supernormal Step(although it’s been kinda slow lately), Precocious, Mountain Time, Las Lindas, Between Failures, Anthronauts, Order Of The Stick, Does Not Play Well With Others, But I’m A Cat Person, Mystery Babylon.

Darekun’s comments (back on Ch2 Pg25) got me thinking. What is our timeline so far?
Day 1: Maeye get’s chased by Minox, climbs in cave, finds Aray, Aray kills Minox, they explore cave, find wolves, get asses kicked, fall out of cave, mostly die.
Day 2: Return to Maeye’s camp, find dead Festivs, bury dead Festivs, realize Pretah and Nori are missing, summon Fiet, walk to Blue Heron, bath (woohoo!), sleep
Day 3: Meet Gus and Ryder, eat, drink, make merry
Day 4: Head off to Tahr’s keep
Day 5: Arrive at Tahr’s keep, infiltrate, kill lots of badguys
Day 6: Maeye and Aray escape angry women and leave Tahr’s keep
Day 8: Track down Gus and Ryder, show Ryder a good time, steal Tahr’s staff
Day 11: On the road for a few days heading towards Bentl. About to stop by an innocent looking village for some rest and rehab.
Our first page went up August 8, 2013. So in just over 2 years, I have covered 11 days. 🙂
That’s not a bad time period, you have fitted in a lot in those eleven days (and we have skipped three days)
Yup. He’s way ahead of Grrl Power, which in comic time is negative 89 days after the starting pages! 🙂 It started off, flashed back 90 days and in the last 5 years progressed one day in flashback time. Been a great ride though! 😀

Yea. The our girls have been very busy. And will stay that way for a good while I think. We will skip some time here and there when they travel, but for the most part it will be one adventure after another. 🙂
