Ryder: Well, Gus and I dress up like the guards and we pretend that we have you two captured. Then we just walk around like we belong here.

You just want to see more of Aray in those boots. 😛 LOL. I think I can work with that. Trouble with the striptease series is each image was three panels. Just ends up being more work. I’ll ponder this one for a while and see what I can come up with.

The “big guy” should be on the floor shortly. That spear has totally transfixed his chest, which means he is functioning with only one lung right now, the left having collapsed with a traumatic pneumothorax. Also, that spear is in a good position to have lacerated a fair sized pulmonary artery or vein. This isn’t a mere flesh wound. He seems to be able to ignore the pain, but unless his health is magically enhanced somehow, he will bleed to death from internal hemorrhage fairly rapidly.
He was dead the moment he put on that hat. He just didn’t know it yet. 🙂

Me thinks that Aray is going to put Maeye on a very short leash and muzzle her before this quest is over! 😀 The protector vibe from Aray is wonderful and the poses with Maeye really enhance her pissedoffedness and her sexiness. The angle in the final frame is very cool as well. Worth the wait as always.

Yes, it is Aray that says “What is that?” She is responding to Ryder’s suggestion to use the ole’ prisoner transfer trick.

Heart is in the mid thoracic area; lung tissue extends both above and below that level.
I was thinking more in line with some RPGs I am familiar with. In one, healers have a spell called "troll's blood" which let's one regenerate blood loss and some wound types. Or, he could be part troll himself, with regenerative abilities although I'd expect a less human looking skin coloration in that case. Heck, it's a fantasy setting, anything could happen. But if he's just your basic human, he's dog meat.

Nope, he was eitehr trying to run away or didn’t manage to turn around in time (like all of the others), Gus shot him in panel 9
