Gods this page was a bitch! Daz fought me every step of the way. Couldn’t get the poses right, couldn’t get the lighting right. Grr grr grr. I am sorry if this page is riddled with typos. Rant complete. Peace.
You fought the good fight, because this is a glorious page!
I don’t know if it is my favorite ever – you have so many good ones – but I really love so many details: Fiet glowing, Maeye’s epic kick, stomping on Hillarc, plus his final fate as our heroes walk off into the shadows…
And that is just the highlights. The whole page is awesome. π
(Also, no typos that I noticed.)
Whoops, I spoke too soon; upon the umpteenth reading I found a “trophy” typo. It took me a while because the art and story kept distracting me…
I didn’t mind looking though. π
Yes. I’d say the struggle was definitely worth it! I especially like the kick in panel 11 and the foot stomping that followed. She’s using heel of her long-heeled boot, no less. Ouch!
Thank you. The kick panel was one of the ones that was giving me fits. I could see the action in my mind, but getting it into a stopped frame of simulated motion was tough. I like the way that came out though. π
I think this wraps things up very nicely. The townsfolk get to see who the real villain was and are given the opportunity to decide and enact the punishment they feel is just. Plus, I didn’t want his death on Maeye’s hands. I actually took out two panels in this monsterous page where Maeye asks everyone to try their best to not kill the guards if they could avoid it. Krag says he will try but he was pretty sure one or two of them were in on things with Hillarc and he was going to take them out. So Maeye, fiece and explosive as she is, still has a conscious and a touch of innocence.
Kinda get the impression that the townsfolks, while still looking for payback, won’t just kill the guards without getting the truth out of them, and the guards will have seen what happened to Pillarc that they will gladly turn on the ones who were complicit in the murders (they may have to get some fast horses though to catch the ones who legged it)
Take that you f-ing bastard! I enjoyed watching Maeye kick and stomp the crap out of Hillarc very much. And the last panel is glorious. Well done. Again!

Looks like it was worth the effort. Very satisfying end to this painful storyline.
Thank you!

Yea Trophie is the typo.
Wouldn’t be a Prentil page without a typo. π
Thank you very much! Much appreciated!

The question now is, will Kraghen go his separate way? Or will they be traveling together?
I think we will be seeing some more of Mr. Krag.

Maeye sweetness, you have heels, STOMP LOWER NEXT TIME!! π
I couldn’t agree more!
LOL!
Have to admit: his end is more satisfying, for one thing, he was still alive and the townsfolk had more ‘right’ to claiming justice from him than Aray

Thank you! The stomping panel was one of my favorites on this page. π
He used to be in charge. But it looks like he’s been…
( β’_β’)
( β’_β’)>ββ -β
ο»Ώ(ββ _β )
…fired.
I am totally cracking up! Love the ascii art.
Highly placed in government, guilty of high crimes with a rampant history….
I’m sure it’s just coincidence that if you changed just ONE letter of Hillarc’s name to a “y”… π
What an interesting coincidence that is! π
Please, no real-world politics
Upon looking at this page again, I noticed that Hillarcβs head turned purple in panels 1 and 3. Somehow, that escaped my conscious notice earlier.
Anyway, that was a nice touch.
Cool. Thank you for noticing! π
There’s still one loose end to tie up; what’s going to happen to Sha’ag?
We will deal with that very soon. π
She either stays with Kraghen, or she joins the Terrific Trio on their Miss Adventures π
It has been said that revenge is a dish best served cold, but sometimes serving it piping hot will do.
LOL. Yes indeed.
