Thank you. I love working with Maeye’s facial expressions. She is such a passionate and emotional person so I get to exagerate her expressions which is way fun. Aray is always calm and cool and collected, so her expressions are of course more sublte. But, she gets fun when she is angry or in battle.
At first I just took this comment at face value and was like “Yeah…”, but having been seriously challenged posing characters for a hug without the bars, depicting it must suck too. You pulled it off very well, that feel of human contact constrained by cold metal really came through…
Welcome! Glad you like the comic! I put out a page every 2 weeks. I know that seems like it is a bit of a long time between pages, but considering I put 2 – 3 times as much material in each page I think it is worth it.
I tried doing the 3 -5 panel page like most comics, but I really like to tell more story and put more detail into each scene so my pages tend to be a bit long and thus take a bit longer to make.
You do such a great job with their facial expressions. Can’t wait to see what kind of mayhem and mischief Maeye and Fiet get into. 🙂
