I actually thought about throwing in a gag like that – everyone making a request for something – but there are already a few gags thrown in there so I took it out in the end.
Has Aray given any thought to how she’s supposed to don armor while in the middle of a battle? She doesn’t really have enough allies to hold them off of her while she’s getting dressed, it’s not like the stuff is slip on spandex.
Big Liz in the last panel smells like trouble (hope Sha’ag thinks he tastes like chicken)
Yea – the armor idea is interesting. Maybe Fiet and Sha’ag together can give her a respite. Regardless if we can’t get some more swords in this fight, she’ll run out of energy before we run out of badguys.
Also, I think this is my preferred costuming for Sha’ag. She can keep wearing this (birthday) suit for quite a while before I get tired of it (like I could). 😛
Nom Nom Nom, mmmmm, lizard blood. Is it red like human blood? Green, maybe, or yellow? Does it taste like human blood? Will Sha’ag ever get sha’aged? Do vampires prefer anal sex? This and other questions will be answered in future episodes (I guess).
This is true. But I think Sha’ag deserves a little satisfaction at some point, so maybe we will have a little side adventure one day…I’ll call it Sha’ag Finally Gets Some. 🙂

Speaking of: that’s a neat visual, until you actually look at it and notice it had to have passed through Aray, because those spears have nasty side-spikes just below the blade which are longer than Aray is deep
The “spear spike” is called a “quillon” and is most often seen on boar spears or dual purpose Celtic spears used for both hunting and war. They are there to limit penetration of the spear into the target, making recovery much easier and faster. Mainly used on spears meant for thrusting, rather than throwing.
I usually leave it up to others to be the grammar Nazi, because Lord knows I make enough mistakes of my own, but in Panel 1 shouldn’t it say “Get me back in the fight.” instead of “Get be back in the fight”?

If you look closely, there is a handy little motion line that shows that the spear spike missed Aray by a froghair.

I just assumed that was because one of the injuries was affecting his nose function, but it may be an error…
