Thank you, she is beautiful
At first, thought she had died from eating poison berries, would have rather her demise be that than murdered for her rack (her antlers, you pervs 😛 )
Jesus Christ, now that’s a mindscrew. He’s saying that gods have set up various “heaven” places to attract souls in order to use their soul power for whatever? Damn. Quite literally, I suppose.
Not quite, he’s saying that when people (and that covers more than just hyu-mons) die, they have the option of moving on, in some cases, they either choose not to or something connected to their death prevents them from moving on
Believe the usage of ‘captured’ may be throwing you off a little
Ooorah is right on this one. The implication is that many religions are actually fabricated by other Merchants so that when the people that follow their religion die, their souls will be attracted to the fabricated “heaven” which is actually just a massive soul processing plant.
G is right on this one. He was not trapped in the Pillar – he was unable to see the Pillar when it was partially contained in the rock monster guy. Once the gang broke it free, it popped back up on his radar, and he showed up to retrieve it.
Well, then its good that it didn’t break when it was released.
What would happen with the souls if the Merchant loses a pillar ? Will they become free ?
They just stay in there forever if they are not collected. A being that exists in spirit form at all times could probably escape over time, but a soul like ours would be trapped.
What a horrifying concept. And it probably pales next to what the buyers use the “tools” for. The Merchant may not be actively malevolent, but, as Eile Wiesel said, “Not caring is the worst evil”.
Was thinking more of Mr Bear rather than Sha’, always figured her to be more of a Dimension Traveller than a contained soul
What sort of toe-sucking dirt-sniffer would kill such a beautiful creature?
Hope he died very painfully and over a long period, maybe fallen into one of his own traps! >:|
That’s mean to make such a beautiful creature to only make her a pin cushion.
I agree. An unpincushioned Fawn will be our next incentive.
Thank you, she is beautiful

LOL!
It’s also not impossible that a secondary or supporting character might appear that is able to summon her, right?
Aaaaah. Interesting idea….

Typo: “that sould then has” in panel 6.

That does not come as a surprise or a shock at all, look at how many people believe the Christian ‘Heaven’ is a possibility
Anything is possible. 🙂
If the souls could be contained in some pillars, and I presume he’s the one who does that, then how did he himself got trapped inside one ?
I refer to the great fight in kind of dungeon a couple (or more) pages ago.
He wasn’t trapped in it, he was summoned once they released it

Ever seen Ghostbusters? When that idiot opens up the Containment Unit?

Solid point and a good quote.
You got 2.5Mviews! How’re you going to celebrate?
Holy crap! I don’t know…time is pretty tight these days. Probably just raise a bourbon at some point. 🙂 Thanks for pointing that out!
