Arayanna: I really love this tattoo, Maeye. Thank you. This gift is most wonderful.
Maeye: Sure hurt like hell, though.
Arayanna: Yes, it certainly did. I think I prefer the Elvian method of tattooing with instant and painless magic.
1b.
Arayanna: Can I borrow your jade necklace?
1c.
Maeye: Ugh...
Maeye: Huh? Uh...yea...of course. It's in that spider's nest I call a jewelry box.
2a.
Arayanna: Maeye, what is this?
Maeye: Huh?
Maeye: Oh, that is that old bear claw I found in the woods.
2b.
Arayanna: You mean that the story you told on Halloween was real?
Maeye: Parts of it, yea. I embelished some. A good Festiv knows how to make a story more zesty.
3a.
Arayanna: Maeye, hold this in your hand.
Maeye: Ok.
3b.
Arayanna: Can you feel it?
Maeye: Epcsa's eyes! There's a spirit in there!
4a.
Maeye: Let's summon it!
Arayanna: Wait!
Arayanna: Not here!
4b.
Maeye: Aw. Why not?
Arayanna: We do not know how this spirit will react or how strong it will be. It could tear the house apart.
5a.
Maeye: Ok. Let's go outside!
Arayanna: Maeye!
Arayanna: Wait!
Arayanna: Clothes!
5b.
Maeye: Come on, slow poke!
6a.
Maeye: So how do I summon it if I don't know it's name?
Arayanna: At the end of your story, you said that you woke up in a small cave. Was that part true?
Maeye: Yes.
Arayanna: And you said that the den had a very strong an particular smell?
Maeye: Yes.
6b.
Arayanna: Close your eyes.
Arayanna: Focus on those smells from your memory. Project them as if you are calling to someone with your memories instead of your voice.
7a.
Maeye: Um...I think it worked.
7b.
Arayanna: What are you feeling from it?
Maeye: It wants to protect me.
Arayanna: Good! I can use all the help I can get!
Maeye: Ha!
8a.
Maeye: This is all so...incredible.
Arayanna: You are the one who is incredible.
8b.
Arayanna: I think you should keep him with you at all times. And I also think you should start carrying that staff with you.
Arayanna: Now come on. We are going to be late meeting the others and we still have to pack and get you dressed.
Maeye: Ok. If I must. Good bye for now, Mister Bear. I will see you soon!

So now they care about clothes?
LOL!
The fact that Maeye’s story was true really helps explain why she can barely bear to cover her bare bottom. The bear inside her finds clothing unbearable, and longs to be bare, with no underwear.
I hope she names him Moon Bear. xD
I love Maeye’s disgusted look on the second panel inset. Too bad they won’t have time to do laundry before the next adventure! Maybe they can use magic for that? And it seems that a new guardian spirit has joined the party. Well, not all the time. Just bearly.
Just bearly…good one. π
I love the stinky clothes gag.
Wait, is this a flashback to before the meeting last page? Or is this after the meeting and they are getting ready to leave?
I rather think before the meeting/dinner. Who else would be the others if it was after ?
They could be meeting the others who are journeying with them, remember, this is their place, not the Inn
I think this is after the meeting and they are heading out.
It is after the meeting and they are preparing to leave, although why Arayanna needs a jade necklace to wear on a mountain exploration campaign, I’ll never understand.
Technically, I guess it does not really matter if it is before the meeting or after. The point was to introduce Mr. Bear while simultaneously showing off Maeye’s butt in cute panties.
In daz3d the characters look a little bit different (for the better, although Maeye looks a bit different) but the finishing of the renders is better without a doubt. ΒΏwhat happen with the making of? I watch you π
I am still working on the making of stuff. Not 100% sure how to go about it. I could just describe what I do, but that seems kinda boring. Working on it…
Hi, know the pipeline of others is very interesting! things about your art, how do you use render times, you create your own texture or you use some of daz store, or other sites? As you pose the scenes, and what I like the least, lighting π Or something about post-production task. I saw, some artist using comic-pro, a little program for make comic templates, with some effects, text, etc.. And others Photoshop, or gimp.
Can see why you hired new actresses: this Maeye is more ‘expressive’
There are a whole bunch of things that go on behind the scenes that are so much easier to deal with now that I am using the G2 models. Basically, the models themselves are more realistic. The joints often got twisted with the V4 models, particularly the shoulders and knees – so that meant lots of extra post work. G2 fixed that and many other things. Maeye is wonderfully expressive. She is so fun to work with. π
So, you hire actresses and other persons to be a model for the characters in the story ? I always thought that they were based on your imagination without an actress/model. It looks like I really need to learn more about (comic) drawing. If I may ask, does Maeye looks (very) alike the actress ?
Nah, just me being silly because of the 3d program used rather than drawing by hand (or stylus)
Also a nod to TV shows or movies who change actresses or actors for the same role (like the character ‘Becky’ in the old “Roseanne’ show, which had a cool scene at the end of the new episode where both actresses met π )
Personally? New Maeye doesn’t look like Original Maeye, butt the two actresses playing Aray could be sisters if not twins π
Yea – we were just goofin. Everything is done in Daz Studio Pro. Occasionally, I throw in a photograph or a painting in the background.
